Biography

Paragraph 1 — Role at DuploCloud

As Founder and CEO, Venkat sets the technical vision for DuploCloud’s approach to infrastructure automation — provisioning, CI/CD, and built-in compliance controls (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP) across AWS, GCP, and Azure. He remains hands-on with the platform’s architecture direction, particularly as it extends into agentic AI for DevOps operations.

Venkat was one of the founding engineers on the Azure networking team at Microsoft, joining in 2008. He wrote significant parts of Azure’s compute and network controller stack during its transition from a PaaS-only service to full IaaS. He later worked as a Principal Engineer at Zenefits before founding DuploCloud. He holds an MS in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
